About Us

Kasia Bodnar, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Mak Mental Health. She provides thoughtful, compassionate care to children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, with a focus on personalized treatment that supports emotional wellness at every stage of life.

Kasia holds a Master’s in Nursing Education and completed post-master’s training as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. With over 15 years of nursing experience, Kasia brings deep compassion and clinical insight to her work. Today, she is committed to helping her patients heal, grow, and thrive through personalized, collaborative care.

Kasia treats a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, insomnia, OCD, and thought disorders. Her approach blends evidence-based psychopharmacology with supportive therapy, lifestyle modifications, and a holistic understanding of each individual’s story and needs.
